HMZ CHRISTMAS APPEAL - FEED THE WELSH

You've all heard about Band Aid - Feed The World.

And you may well have heard of Bristol Band Aid - Feed The Wurzels.

Now HMZ launches its own late bid for the Christmas Number 1 slot with Feed The Welsh. We aim to help the poor people of Wales who have run out of lard (story).

We haven't managed to record our version yet, but please sing these lyrics whenever you hear the song, and above all please give generously.

We’re English
There's no need to be afraid
We’re English, from Somerset where cider’s made
And in our land of plenty we can wear a smile of joy
Throw your lard towards the Welsh at Christmas time

But say a prayer

Pray for the Portishead
At Christmas time it's hard, knowing they’re inbred
There's a world outside of Nailsea
And it's a world of dread and fear
Where there is no cider flowing, just low alcohol beers
And the Severn Bridge is closing
Are the Bristol Channel’s deep
Well tonight thank God you're not one of their sheep

And there won't be snow in Pontypool this Christmas time
And there won’t be snow in Cardiff or Swansea
(Oooh) Where life is getting hard
And they don’t have any lard
Don’t know why we built the bridge at all

(Here's to you) raise a glass of cider up
(Here's to them) getting stuffed in the World Cup
Are they worse at rugby or football?

Feed the Welsh, feed the Welsh, feed the Welsh
Let them know it's Christmas time again

Feed the Welsh
Let them go and feed themselves
Feed the Welsh
Let them go and feed themselves
Feed the Welsh
Let them go and feed themselves
Feed the Welsh
Let them know it's Christmas time again
