We enjoyed a host of fantastic events last season, which brought in much needed funds for the Club, while enabling us all to have a great time together doing so. To realise our ambitions we need to repeat and if possible better last season's effort if we can. Hopefully, you are already seeing and experiencing the benefits generated from what we raised as a Club - development of the Somerset County pitch, new kits for all of the Club's teams, new goals/nets for all of our pitches and training equipment. We are now pushing the Town Council hard to grant us the final permission to begin work on our new dressing rooms and this is going to cost. Last season your support was superb and I really hope we can count on this again. At our August 2006 General Committee Meeting we assembled a schedule of events, so here they are for your diaries;

Saturday, 7th October 2006 : Nailsea United FC 'Go to the Dogs'. Club Greyhound Racing night out at the Swindon Greyhound Racing Stadium.

Sunday, 5th November 2006 : NUFC Pro-Evo 2007 at the Grove Sports Centre (and of course THE Darts re-match). Book Monday 6th Nov off now Paul Macca!

Saturday, 25th November 2006 : NUFC presents 'Fake That' a Karaoke Disco with a difference (aka 'Stars in their Eyes' and X Factor rolled into one NUFC style - watch this space!) at the Grove Sports Centre.

Saturday, 27th January 2007 : NUFC presents the Psychedelia Smiths (the excellent rock band that played on the night of last season's Showboat) at the Grove Sports Centre.

Saturday, 12th May 2007 : NUFC Annual Presentation Dinner/Dance Evening at Rookery Manor, Edingworth, W-S-M.

Sunday, 27th May 2007 : The Annual NUFC Showboat at the Grove Sports Centre.

There will of course be further information about these events to follow and perhaps news of more events as the season progresses (if you have any ideas, please let me know!).
