Two of our promising youngsters from our current United 'A' squad, Mark Wallington and Dan Cook, impressed while representing the Weston Super Mare & District League U18 side against strong Bristol Combination U18 opposition at Cheddar FC in the Durnford Cup on Tuesday evening. Both of the Nailsea lads showed up very well, Mark at centre back and Dan on the right of midfield, but not even their efforts could stop the Weston side going down 3-2 to the current holders in a close game which was good to watch. On behalf of the Club I would like to congratulate them both for the excellent way they represented the League and our Club. Representative football will have given them some very useful experience, which I am sure they will have benefited from as they move on through the senior game.
