We
are in desperate need of a first team 'physio'. As many of you are aware,
Tony Smith was originally going to take the job, but I'm pleased to report
that after some stirring displays in the 'A's, Tony has opted to play
this season (and quite rightly so - nothing in football beats playing
after all). We are therefore left with a problem in that unlike the rest
of our Club's sides, we do not have a trained person to treat injuries
at our first team games. The individual concerned need not be a fully
qualified physio. In fact we will arrange for him or her to take 'a treatment
of injuries' course, which just takes a couple of evenings. If we are
serious about being professional and adhere to the FA vision to have suitably
qualified people at all games, we need to sort this one out without delay.
What's also important is that the person concerned has enthusiasm, is
reliable, can work closely with Derek, Steve and the first team and shares
the vision of wanting the Club to progress. Anyone interested or know
of anyone who might be? This is a serious plea for help and anyone interested
should give myself a call on 01275 858666.
