It’s been 2 months now since the Nailsea United website started, so we thought it would be a good time to give a little update on how things are going, and what is still to come.

The first thing we must say is how popular the site has become! Last week there were over 250 unique visitors to the site, with half visiting more than once. The online polls have received over 100 votes each, and more than 50 people took the first quiz we set. So thanks for supporting the site, and allowing it to become an effective means of communication for NUFC.

Hopefully most of you have realized that the match reports can be accessed by clicking on the relevant fixtures in the results and fixtures lists. Thanks in particular to Rob and Kav who have been providing 1st team and Colts reports respectively. We would like to have some for the B’s too, so if you fancy giving it a go just email us your reports, as much or little detail as you like, and don’t worry about your spelling etc as we can tidy that up if needed.

We can’t hope to compete with the speed and detail of the FA website when it comes to results and league tables, so our league tables page has links to the relevant sections for Somerset and Weston & District leagues, from where you just need to navigate to the required division.

We will be updating the player profiles section soon. We have a few photos that were taken during pre-season, and will be taking some more over the next few weeks. If you would like your profile added please email us with your name, position, previous clubs, honours (adult football only) and any interesting facts about yourself. If you have a digital photo of yourself to save us taking one even better, please email that here.

Also coming soon will be some detailed statistics about players’ NUFC appearances and goals. In the meantime we have a top-scorers chart for this season on the statistics page.
