The
postponement of this Saturday's fixture at Wrington has thrown the A's
into controversy.
Winger Dan
Cook, who has a history of lying to the website about goals he claims
to have scored, told us "A few spots of rain were too much for
the Wrington playing staff as it postponed their match with the 'mighty'
A's. Most players were bewildered as it seems Jo Parsons and Mark Wallington
were the only people to be contacted by the manager Tony Peacock".
In
the interests of fairness we questioned Mr Peacock about this allegation,
and although he admitted two of the squad hadn't been contacted, he said
all others should have been informed: "Nope the only 2 players
I didn't contact were Sam Oatway and Barnard because I didn't have there
numbers. Jo said he'd contact Dan when I phoned him and I texted everyone
else."
Unsure which
version of events to believe, we have decided to put it to the vote. Please
click below to indicate if you think Mr Cook or Mr Peacock is telling
the truth.
