The Club Committee have been working hard to stage a Club Fundraising/Social event on the night of Saturday, 8th December 2007, to replace the Fake That spectacular, which, as previously advised, will now take place on Saturday, 9th February 2008.

We are pleased to announce that the Club will be holding one of its popular Race Nights at the Grove Sports Centre, with the first race off at 8.00 pm. It’s free to get in and there will be the usual card of nine races, which we are pleased to announce have all been sponsored by generous local businesses. We hope that once again we can rely on you all to support the evening enthusiastically and please ask friends and family to come along. Leading up to the event Team Managers will be selling horse trainer allocations for £2.00 each and if you are the lucky trainer of the winning horse you can trouser £10.00 in prize money. On the night itself there will be a Tote for those of you who fancy a bet and Owner auctions to win further cash prizes.

Please do your best to support this event, which like all of our fundraisers, is absolutely crucial to turning our aspirations into reality.
