As another Nailsea United FC season starts the Club has already begun to organise its fund raising/social events and below are all of the key dates for your diaries. These functions are extremely important in two respects - they raise much needed funds to enable us to pursue our development plan and also bring the Club together to have a great time socially. I therefore hope the fantastic level of support the Club has enjoyed over the past 3 years will continue. There may be additional events organised (we are looking to schedule something for mid to late September) but here's what's on the books so far;

Saturday, 27th October 2007 - Disco/Karaoke at the Grove Sports Centre. Promise - no American Pie from the Vice Chairman, plenty of dancing, drinking and a good chance to warm up for 'Fake That 2'.

Saturday, 8th December 2007 - Fake That 2 at the Grove Sports Centre. After last year's phenomenal event there just had to be a sequel. Start thinking who you can star as for that vital 5 minutes of fame to impress the judges.

Thursday, 27th December 2007 - Pro-Evo Tournament at the Grove Sports Centre. The event has been moved to the holiday period between Christmas and New Year to increase participation and give people something to do other than dozing off in front of the Sound of Music and stuffing themselves with festive stodge.

Saturday, 9th February 2008 - Rock night with a headline band, supported by the incredible John Hobbs Project.

Sunday, 25th May 2008 - The third NUFC Showboat - bright sunshine and high temperatures are predicted to complement the usual feast of football, food, beer and music.

Friday, 30th May 2008 - NUFC Annual Presentation Dinner/Dance at the Rookery Manor Hotel.
