Richard Lucas (pictured right) headed a strong Nailsea United presence in last Sunday's Bristol Half-Marathon.

First team manager Derek Hucker found this photo in a local paper and commented "no wonder he has lost a yard of pace!!! I like his new boots!! Couldn't make his shooting any worse." At the time of writing Rich was unavailable to confirm or deny whether this was the first time he had entered an old man or not.

NUFC Captain and all-round master of sports, Rob Wilson completed the course in 1 hour 42 mins. "It went OK considering I've had very little training. Quite sore now though" said Rob, who made the exact same comments when leaving a Torquay hotel room earlier this year, following a much faster performance.
