I would like to thank everyone for supporting last night's Club Disco/Karaoke so magnificently. It was great to see so many players, wives, girlfriends and friends, young and old, at the function, which proves we can come together as a Club. The atmosphere was absolutely spot on and I hope I speak for everyone in saying we bloody well enjoyed ourselves. Midge's soulful performance, the ranting DJ Luke, Smiffy roaming the stage and hall looking for unsuspecting victims and the 'Red Army' scenes at the end - brilliant stuff. The night was supported so well we cleared an amazing profit of £530! Barry and I were originally hoping to raise £300 so this surpassed our wildest expectations. We are obviously going to need more nights like this if we are going to realise our development aims, but if we can all have a good time doing it as well, that can only be a good thing. Thanks to you all again for a superb evening - we will obviously be doing it again!
